-170 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70170 is an AS568-170 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to ozone, UV and weathering, water and steam, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

It sees regular use in solar and roofing assemblies, outdoor equipment, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
