2.4MM CS X 17.3MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E2.4X17.3 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 17.3 mm (0.681 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 22.1 mm (0.87 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
