The E70174 is an AS568-174 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.737 in (221.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.943 in (227.15 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. The compound resists brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
