E5.7X174.2 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 174.2 mm (6.858 in), a cross section of 5.7 mm (0.224 in), and an outside diameter of 185.6 mm (7.31 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and water and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
