The E70175 is an AS568-175 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.987 in (228.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.193 in (233.5 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
