E2.5X20 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 20 mm (0.787 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 25 mm (0.98 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
