-212 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70212, this is an AS568-212 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.859 in (21.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.137 in (28.88 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and ketones. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
