Ordered as E70216, this is an AS568-216 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.109 in (28.17 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.387 in (35.23 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against ketones, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
