APG stocks the E1.6X2.2, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.2 mm (0.087 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 5.4 mm (0.21 in). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
