APG stocks the E1.6X22.1, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 22.1 mm (0.87 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 25.3 mm (1 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists ketones, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.
