E70NSF222 is an AS568-222 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.484 in (37.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.762 in (44.75 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Expect good resistance to water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
