Part number E70225 is an AS568-225 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) delivers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. This material stands up to brake fluid, ketones, and water and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
