-233 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70233 is an AS568-233 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.859 in (72.62 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.137 in (79.68 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and water and steam systems.
