Ordered as E70238, this is an AS568-238 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.484 in (88.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.762 in (95.55 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is known for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
