-239 BLACK EPDM 70D NSF O-RING

Ordered as E70NSF239, this is an AS568-239 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.609 in (91.67 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.887 in (98.73 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists ozone, UV and weathering, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, brake and phosphate ester systems, and HVAC and refrigeration.
