-241 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70241 is an AS568-241 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.859 in (98.02 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.137 in (105.08 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
