-243 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70243 is an AS568-243 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.109 in (104.37 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.387 in (111.43 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material holds up against ketones, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, outdoor equipment, and HVAC and refrigeration.
