The E70NSF245 is an AS568-245 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.359 in (110.72 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.637 in (117.78 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is known for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
