-246 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70246 is an AS568-246 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.484 in (113.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.762 in (120.95 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and water and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
