Ordered as E70NSF246, this is an AS568-246 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.484 in (113.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.762 in (120.95 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to ketones, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
