EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
