-261 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

APG stocks the E70261, an AS568-261 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.734 in (171.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.012 in (178.1 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists ketones, water and steam, and brake fluid. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
