Ordered as E70263, this is an AS568-263 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.234 in (183.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.512 in (190.8 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against ketones, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
