-264 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70264, this is an AS568-264 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.484 in (190.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.762 in (197.15 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, brake and phosphate ester systems, and outdoor equipment.
