Part number E3X28 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 28 mm (1.102 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 34 mm (1.34 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. It resists ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
