2MM CS X 3MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

APG stocks the E2X3, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 7 mm (0.28 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.

Typical settings include HVAC and refrigeration, brake and phosphate ester systems, and solar and roofing assemblies.

E2X3 ships individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.054 g. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
