5MM CS X 30MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

The E5X30 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 30 mm (1.181 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 40 mm (1.57 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to ketones, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, HVAC and refrigeration, and water and steam systems.
