APG stocks the E70314, an AS568-314 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.725 in (18.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.145 in (29.08 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.
It resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) delivers good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
Order part number E70314, sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 1.93 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 3/4 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation. APG can cross-reference from an existing part number, a drawing or a physical sample if this size is not an exact match.
