-315 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70315 is an AS568-315 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. It resists brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and water and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.

It sees regular use in water and steam systems, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
