-317 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-317 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm), catalogued under part number E70317. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) delivers very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. This material stands up to brake fluid, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
