-325 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-325 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.895 in (48.13 mm), catalogued under part number E70325. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
