E70327 is an AS568-327 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.725 in (43.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.145 in (54.48 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Typical settings include HVAC and refrigeration, potable water applications, and solar and roofing assemblies.
