E70332 is an AS568-332 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.77 in (70.36 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. It resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.
