-342 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-342 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 3.6 in (91.44 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.02 in (102.11 mm), catalogued under part number E70342. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to water and steam, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and water and steam systems.
