APG stocks the E3X35, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 35 mm (1.378 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 41 mm (1.61 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers very good flexibility at low temperature, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in HVAC and refrigeration, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
