The E5X35 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 35 mm (1.378 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 45 mm (1.77 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to water and steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
