As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. The material holds up against water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
