2.4MM CS X 3.6MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.6 mm (0.142 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 8.4 mm (0.33 in), catalogued under part number E2.4X3.6. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to ketones, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, potable water applications, and outdoor equipment.
