-364 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-364 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.145 in (181.48 mm), catalogued under part number E70364. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and brake fluid. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
