EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
