E70368 is an AS568-368 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.145 in (206.88 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, brake and phosphate ester systems, and outdoor equipment.
