The E70371 is an AS568-371 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance.
