-372 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70372 is an AS568-372 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is known for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and ozone, UV and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and potable water applications.
