-378 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70378, this is an AS568-378 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and brake fluid. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
