Ordered as E70381, this is an AS568-381 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is valued for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
