E70384 is an AS568-384 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists ozone, UV and weathering, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
