-386 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70386 is an AS568-386 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to ketones, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
