This o-ring is supplied in AS568-387 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm), catalogued under part number E70387. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
