-390 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-390 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 20.953 in (532.21 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.373 in (542.87 mm), catalogued under part number E70390. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
