-400 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

Ordered as E70400, this is an AS568-400 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
